It is good to belong to a church organization, to listen to a minister to have fellowship with other brethren. That is if they are preaching and teaching the word of God. you don't have to belong to any organization or church to be in God's grace. For Jesus said in Matthew. 18:20. When two or more are gathered together, Jesus is with them. It is easy to tell if you are in the right organization or church. Christ said, You will know them by their fruits. In other word's if they are teaching the truth of the Bible.

           I will give some of the scriptures in your Bible to prove that the Law and the Commandments were not done away with. These are but a few of many scriptures which prove that the word of God and His Son Jesus Christ are flawless. One important scripture to keep in mind, while you read your Bible, or listen to a Minister is 1 Thessalonians. 5:21. WHich says, Test all things; hold fast what is good.

          The scripture that is most used to say that the Law is done away with is Matthew. 5:17. Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfil. Christ is saying here, that He did not come to destroy , but to fulfil. But to fulfil what, to fulfil what the prophets of old had said about His coming and about His birth, and His teachings. So if He didn't do away with the Law then they are still enforced.

          So why would He go on to say in Matthew. 5:18. For assuredly, I say to you till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled, In other words not one word or one period will ever be changed, from God's Law. When He says, not until all is fulfilled. Has all been fulfilled , of course not . He still has to come back to this earth . That is one of the fulfilment's that He has yet to fulfil .

          He means when He comes at His second coming, and even then the Law will be enforced. Then He goes on in verse Matthew. 5:19. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments; and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

          The least of what commandments , the ones that we just read about of course. Not one jot nor one tittle. In other word's they are not to be changed or rearranged in any way, shape or form.

           So as you can see from the pages of your own Bible that Christ did not do away with the Law and the Commandments. Just because he used the phrase fulfil, It don't mean that the Law was done away with. That is a lame excuse to use not to keep God's Law's . For if you look up the word fulfil, the word has many different meanings. The Collins English Dictionary says, To carry out or execute ( a request, etc, )or to conform with or satisfy ( regulations, demands, etc, ) . So Christ was keeping the Laws and the Commandments. Jesus didn't destroy them.

            So let's prove that Jesus wasn't talking about just one commandment, the new one which He gave, which was love. This is what most churches want you to believe , is that all you need is love , hope , faith , and charity . But is this so ! One of the Scribes came to Jesus and asked Him which was the greatest commandment. And Jesus answered him in Mark. 12:29-31. Jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments; Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, With all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second , like it, is this : You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater then these. Notice how He said, all the commandments , meaning all ten.

               Notice how Jesus never named all of the commandments. Why ! Because he was talking to the Jewish people . He didn't have to tell them what the commandments were, because they had them since Moses time. Most of these Jewish people had the Ten Commandments bread into them from childbirth . They knew the Commandments inside out . That is why I say you must put yourself in the place of a Jewish person . you must learn Jewish traditions. And the Bible starts to become very clear.

              Now notice in John. 14:15,21. For Jesus says, If you love Me, keep My commandments, He who has My commandments and keep them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. What a promise when Jesus says, that He will love you, and also His father. Also as it says in 1 Corinthians. 7:19. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what mattress, So you don't have to be circumcised to be in God's grace and love. The only thing that matters is Keeping His Commandments.

             Notice how He says, My Commandments , His Commandments . I Am That I Am .

            Another account in the Bible is where a young man came to Jesus and asked Him how he could have eternal life ? And Jesus answered him, Matthew. 19:16 - 22. Now behold, one came and said to Him, Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life ? So He said to Him, Why do you call Me good ? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments, He said to Him, Which ones ? Jesus said, You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, honour your father and your mother, and, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

              The young man said to Him, All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack ? Jesus said to him, If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me. But when the young man hear that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

              So as you can see Jesus outlined the basic commandments for the young man. Jesus didn't have to quote all the commandments, because the young man knew them. Don't forget that once again when Jesus spoke to the people, that they knew exactly what He was talking about. Because they were mostly Jewish people and they knew that when he spoke about the commandments, that was something they always had know. Strange that the young man didn't say to Jesus, Jesus please teach e these commandments, I want to learn more. Not that is not the case. For he knew , and so did everyone else .

              But remember what Jesus said, If you want to receive eternal life , keep the commandments . All Ten.

           For as we read in Ecclesiastes what the duty of man is. Ecclesiastes. 12:13 - 14. Which reads, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His Commandments, For this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgement, Including every secret thing, Whether it is good or whether it is evil . So now we know what the duty of man is , keeping the Commandments of God .

          So as you can see that the commandments were not done away with. But you will say that the commandments were done away with when Christ died on the cross ( tree , stake ) . Acts. 13: 29 , Acts. 10 : 39. If that is so, why then did the New Testament Chruch in Antioch still keep the commandments , the Holy Days, and the Sabbath ? You will say then, that was because they were Jewish, and they were still under the Old COvenant. Not so ! Because Paul who was a part Greek kept all these things and also the rest of the Christian CHruch. Long after Christ died. By the time the New Testament Church was formed, there were just as many Greeks as there were Jews. So why would the Greeks keep all these things if they were done away with at the cross ( tree , stake ) or at Jesus death ? When they never did keep them anyway.

       Remember that Paul's name was Saul . And he was one of the most feared men at that time for persecuting the people for following Christ . It was his job to go out and find people who were in the Way ( Christ ) . Until Christ converted him on the road to Demascuss . So why would Paul still keep all of the Commandments , Holy Days , and the Sabbath . When they were done away with . After Christ died . You mean to tell me that Paul and the rest of the apostles didn't know that these things were done away with.

      So lets look at some ot the teachings of Paul and the apostles at the time of the New Testament Church, concerning the commandments of God, long after Jesus death.

      As we can see in the book of Acts, Paul was taken to Felix the governor. He was accused by the high priest and the elders of the Jews. That he was the ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes . ( The New testament Chruch ) . So Paul's response was Acts. 24 : 14 . But this I confess to you, that according to the Way ( Jesus ) which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers , believing all things which are written in the Law and the Prophets. Notice how he said , All things .

     Most churches would have you believe that all you need is to have faith, love , hope, and charity. but is this so ? For as Paul speaking to the Romans in Romans. 3 : 31 . Do we then make void the law through faith ? Certainly not ! On the contrary , we establish the Law, Then again in Romans. 4 : 15 . Because the Law bring about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression, Then again , in Romans. 7 : 1. Or do you not know, brethren ( for I speak to those who know the law ) , That the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives,

      Very strong scriptures for the law . As it says , we must establish the Law . If there is no Law then there is no transgression . God forbid , if that is what we think . Because we are all going to answer to God for our sins . And if there is no law , how can we sin .

       And again in the first epistle of John who gives us a strong warning . 1 John. 2 : 4. He who says, I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. He goes on to say, that we should walk as Christ had walked, and how did Christ walk. Well he walked by keeping the commandments of God, Keeping the Holy Days, and keeping the Sabbath. I don't have to prove any of this to you, just read your own Bible and you will see the things which I say are true .

       So then how do we know that we are with God and a part of God. Well John tells us once again. 1 John. 5 : 2 - 3. By this we know that we are the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments .For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

        These are the teachings of Paul and the apostles to the New Testament Chruch. So if the commandments were done away with when CHrist died for us. Why did the apostles go on preaching these things ? These are but a few of the many scriptures which prove that the commandments are not done away with .

       Also don't forget that there was a Law long before God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai. Adam and Eve committed sin in the garden of Eden. Cain killed Able and was punished for his sin by God. Cain's punishment was that he would not be able to reap anything from the ground again. Then came the flood which God destroyed every living thing on the face of the earth. He only found grace in one man, that was Noah. So the world was so wicked at that time that God destroyed all human kind except for Noah and his family.

       Then God punished the people of Babel. A people who sinned greatly in God's sight. A people who tried to build a tower to God. So God punished them by making them speak different languages, and confusing them. At that time all the people spoke the same language. Then Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed. All this and many accounts were taking place long before God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. So why would Jesus come and destroy God's Law. When the Law of God is so good and righteous.

      He didn't Remember Matthew. 5: 17. Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For as it says, In Romans. 4 : 15. Because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. So in other words if the Law is done away with there is no need for churches, ministers, priests, or the word of God. Because we are all saved anyway ! What a grave mistake to make. This is the reason why there is so much suffering , pain, wrath on the earth right now today.

      Then people wonder why there prayers are not answered . They wonder why they are having so much bad luck , so much torment , and pain . And nothing never seems to go right for them . Well all these things and more are going to be put onto people . And their prayers are not going to be answered , oh , they might say, well God answers my prayers all of the time . But deep down in their hearts , they know that , that is a bold face lie .

     Then some may say , well what about the people who have everything . Have no need for nothing . Well Satan works in mysterious way's . Remember he is the god of this world . And he will entice people in any which way he can .

      I could go on and on and on with many scriptures that prove that the Law of God wasn't done away with. If you believe that the Bible is the word of God you must decide for yourself, that every word of the Bible is from God. remember 2 Timothy. 3 : 16. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

     Also remember 1 John. 2 : 3 - 4. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His Commandments. He who says, I know Him, and does not Keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
 

Let's get back to the basics, God's Commandments and Laws. Let there be no mistake that we need the Law's & the Ten Commandments and God's word , God's Sacred Word the Bible .
